À partir du 1er septembre 2023, je serai en sabbatique pour un an. Aussi, je ne serai pas en mesure d'encadrer de nouveaux candidats pour la M.Sc. ni le doctorat durant cette période.
Je considère que les pluralismes théorique et méthodologique sont des richesses en administration publique. Les approches expérimentales ou quasi expérimentales, les méthodes qualitatives, quantitatives ou mixtes peuvent jeter des éclairages différents et complémentaires sur les phénomènes de la gestion dans le service public.
Le programme de recherche de la Chaire de recherche du Canada en management public comparé (CREMPCO) vise à reconnaître et à comprendre les pratiques et les outils de gestion susceptibles d’améliorer le rendement des organismes publics canadiens au détriment de la discrétion professionnelle et de la vie privée. Le programme de recherche se concentre sur la relation entre le public et son gouvernement, transformée par la technologie. Plus précisément, il porte sur les effets de nouveaux outils de surveillance sur les attentes associées à l’utilisation de ces outils par les fonctionnaires travaillant à un guichet de service, derrière un clavier, mais aussi par les employées et les employés de première ligne, dont les policières et les policiers.
